The week we arrived to Germany I had heard there was a castle near by and on our way to look at our house for the first time I got my first glimpse of it! Since we moved here in the middle of winter we had a bit of trouble finding a nice day that we could visit it BUT we finally got a nice Saturday afternoon and we headed over to check it out.
Burg Nanstein is only about a 15 min drive from our house so it was a great first adventure for us. They have a little restaurant that we heard is very good and plan to go back to try soon!
